· November 1, 2025: Final deadline for abstract submission.
· November 10, 2025: Notification of abstract acceptance.
· January 15, 2026: Final deadline for full paper submission.
· March 1, 2026: Notification of peer review decisions.
· April 7-8, 2026: Conference dates.
Objectives of the Conference:
Assessing the environmental risks in Garmian area in general, and the problem of depletion of water resources in particular for providing appropriate solutions.
demonstrating the application of advanced geospatial technologies, specifically Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing in the analysis and assessment of environmental risks.
Examining the human and demographic dimensions of environmental risk management by analyzing the interrelationships among population growth, migration patterns, and the unsustainable exploitation of natural resources.
Synopsizing local and international experiences and expertise in adaptation and mitigation of climate change, and assessing their applicability to the Garmian region.
Fostering scientific collaboration between natural and human geography to generate an integrative understanding of the causes and effects of environmental risks and propose comprehensive solutions.
TERMS of Participation:
1-The papers presented must be within one of the conference themes.
2-The papers must not have been submitted and presented in any other journal or conference before.
3-The papers should be organized according to the requirements and instructions of our university’s both journals (Passer & Aran) for pure Sciences and Humanities.
4-All approved papers will be published in a special issue of the above-mentioned journals, and the fees will be covered by the conference.
5-The fees for Participation & attending the conference without paper is about 75,000 IQ.
